Describe an Egg Assignment

What really is an egg? How could one describe what an egg is and what it does? To some people not from this planet or people that have just arrived here, they may not know what an egg is. By fully explaining to them the key details of what it is and how it is created the person will get a better idea of this object.

To begin, you can start off by stating that an egg is a certain type of organic object created by living organisms. Eggs have an oval-ish shape and come in a variety of different shades and colors as well as different sizes. Eggs can also be made up of different substances varying from the organism it came from.

The most common type of egg you see is a chicken egg which usually has a white or brown color, hard shell, and around 2 or more inches in length. This egg is very popular in terms of eating. It is readily available and can be prepared in multiple ways which is why many people all around the world enjoy eating chicken eggs.

There are many animals that have the ability to lay eggs like frogs, snakes, birds, crocodiles, fish, spiders, and many more. Different animals lay different types of eggs. For example insects and fish, lay very small eggs that have almost a clear color. These eggs are laid in large numbers and there are a lot of eggs that don’t end up hatching. Other animals like ostriches lay extremely large eggs which have hard shells but snakes on the other hand lay smaller eggs with soft shells.

Another key fact about eggs is that they are living organisms with multiple parts. A simple chicken egg can have nine different organelles which all work together in order to keep the egg safe and properly create a live organism.

In conclusion there are many different ways to describe what an egg looks like or what is inside the egg. Eggs can vary in almost every single aspect but in the end their main purpose is to hatch and continue reproduction.
